Field Trip - Enjoy Birding, Botany and Butterflies
Join Oklawaha Valley Audubon while Lorne Malo, a knowledgeable and experienced guide will lead the group through pastureland, sandhills, and flatwoods, with the chance to see and learn about Red-cockaded Woodpeckers, Bachman’s Sparrows, Brown-headed Nuthatches, and Eastern Meadowlarks.
The hike of up to three miles is rated at easy to moderate. Remember to bring a bag lunch, water, hat, sunscreen, bug spray, binoculars, and camera. Please wear close-toe shoes.
